Fall is here!
Nothing unusual about that, but in San Francisco, when it rains ...
... the Wind is never too far behind!
In fact, according to the Chronicle, we even set a record today.

Oh yes, it was VERY windy today!! I was soaked from the strong wind and rains and I am a 30 plus year veteran of Pacific Northwest winters!! Does this mean we may have a rainy winter?? We'll see!
Good catch! Did you have to wait long for the wind to kick up? We had a little bit of rain early in the morning, but no wind.
No, I didn't. The woman with a green umbrella was kind of a fluke. Maybe you can't see the wind because it's going in the same direction she is. When I got out of the building (for 5 minutes only!) the wind was so strong, it took some woman's bright blue umbrella away from her, lifted it in the air, and deposited it across the street up hill, where it eventually went to rest against someone's parked car/ Now I wish I could have caught THAT (both the woman's expression, and the umbrella 30 feet in the air! ;)
That's how it's looked here all day today. Windy, rain and very very chilly. I wish these were spring rains instead of fall rains.
I am sooo looking forward to Fall...
Nice brella pix!
Noticed that San Rafael led the totals in that article... I bet Kentfield (((always rains more in Kentfield))) had even more than San Rafael's 6-2/3"...
superbes photos. Moi je travaille a Foster City mais on avait eu de la pluie aussi
j'en profite pour dire un petit bonjour en tous cas
