DÉFILÉ DU 14JUILLET 2010

This is the best video I could find to show the 14th of July military parade on the Champs in Paris, this year. For some reason there isn't much on youtube. I know it rained pretty hard so maybe that's why there is not much.

Anyway, this is also a test to see if this will post.

D'habitude je suis devant ma télé mais cette année je n'ai vu le défilé que très partiellement.
Je n'ai même pas vu notre cher Président...
Je préparais le déjeuner car ma Maman venait nous rendre visite et j'avais la télé de la cuisine dans le dos. De plus un connard en bagnole est venu percuter notre mur d'entrée de cour.

I apologize for my "lemming" comment. I was just trying to be funny, but really -- I got drafted into the military, oh so many years ago, and can remember doing really silly stuff like that -- like marching in the rain -- too...

No apologies necessary, Don. I know how you feel about the military ;)

Feel free to express your opinion on this blog, it's not a problem.

Myself, I can separate the message from the choreography so to speak. So when I look at military display, I admire the display, not necessarily the ideology behind it ;)

I know some of my friends do not like to go see the Blue Angels, for instance. I think they're missing out.
