Spring Fall Cleaning / Nettoyage de Printemps d'Automne

Looks familiar?

My apologies, everybody, I know I have left the blog alone for a while and you might be wondering if I'm coming back. I am, I am ... but it'll be a few more days.

Right now I' am knee deep in some kind of Spring (Fall?) cleaning mode and I guess I'd better keep going, er.., at least until I can find my furniture again!

Right now there is stuff everywhere, on chairs, on the couch, in boxes, on the floor...

While removing stuff out of the closet, I found clothes dating back - I kid you knot - to the Reagan administration! I had completely forgotten (no pun intended) that I still had them . Remember these big shoulder pads? The same.

So anyway, I think I'd better stay off the computer for a while and keep purging and sorting through things until I'm done.

By the way, if you're in the neighborhood, a size 8 to 10 Woman (you don't have to be a woman but that's the size that's available), and you want to get a hold of some clothes (many business clothes and some casual stuff in very good shape), let me know (er, pretty quickly, though). Don't worry, I already donated most of the Reagan era clothes this morning. ;)

Or you can watch for the Free ads on Craigslist in my neighborhood (or yours). You never know what goodies might end up in a FREE box on the sidewalk tonight.

Hope all is well for each of you.

PS. Ex-boyfriend, you don't need to come and pick up the items of clothing you thought I'd keep for you "just in case you happen to be in the neighborhood" anymore. It's been donated this morning, for the most part. Oh, yeah, and your toothbrush is in the mail (Yeah, I know).

Comforting to see that others are dealing with the physical clutter in their lives too. I have still not finished dealing with my attic. I will definitely check those links later on today, when I have a bit more time on my hands.

Oh, goodness, you're certainly not alone! And living in places like Bay Area where most living spaces are small - especially in San Francisco - only compounds the problem.

il y a pire que moi, monsieur sardinet lui a sa regle d'or : un truc qui rentre dans la maison, un autre doit en sortir!!!
a+!

Finalement j'ai fini par me raisonner et j'ai fait le tour de toute la maison en me demandant "Do you LOVE it or do you NEED it now or in the foreseable future?"
