Il y a eu des commémorations variées pour l'anniversaire du 11 Septembre, un peu partout dans la Baie.

Pendant quelques jours après le 11 sept 2001, les gens applaudissaient les pompiers san franciscains quand les camions passaient dans la rue : sorte de félicitations par procuration.
