Queen Mary II visiting San Francisco / Queen Mary II en visite à San Francisco

UPDATE: I will update this post with my pictures of the QMary later tonight or tomorrow.

Just to let you all know that there are beautiful pictures of the Queen Mary II coming into San Francisco at the San Francisco Chronicle's website. Isn't she a gorgeous ship? Even the weather cooperated today, as if she wanted to be sure we could photograph her perfectly! Don't miss these beautiful pictures! (And if you happen to be in the neighborhood, and want to go see her in person, she is docked at Pier 27, San Francisco, until Monday, February 5, 2007, approx. 19:00, at which time she'll be leaving us to continue on her trip around the world.)

Louis la Vache, very limited by the inadequate camera and lens he was using, got a few shots of the Queen. Below this post are photos of the condo Louis sold in Oakland before moving to France.

Hi from Singapore Tomate.

Did you know that the Queen Mary was built by ALSTOM?

Interesting fact: They had a big discussion about having to make the seats larger for the American population when the interiorwas being outfitted

Does Rosette work for the Academie Francaise? (I'm sure I spelled that wrong too)
