Do you dream? Rêvez vous?

Credit for this entire post goes to blogger USElaine who always leaves clever comments and cool links (like this one) on some of the Daily City blogs.

Do you ever dream? Your computer does.
Vous arrive-t'il de rêver? Votre ordinateur rêve.

If you wanted to know what a Tomate Farcie (stuffed tomato) looks like in virtual reality, go to this wonderful site called Dreamlines and have a look.

Enter any word at all, wait a couple of minutes for your dream to load, and watch your computer screen morph into an modern art exhibit for the the next several minutes or so.

This (photograph below) I assume, was a "kiss."

This Photograph: Cedric Thual

But don't take my word for it, and check out this flicker set where I "stole" that kiss...

And this was part of the Eiffel Tower dream set (also USElaine's idea) However, I haven't tried to "dream" in French. Let me know how that works out for you. ;)

Ah, go on, go play!!! You know you want to!

Extraordinaire! I took a whole sequence of what the words "sea garden" produced and it went on and on transforming itself into one great composition after another.

Thank you for the head up on this site. This man is amazing!

Well, yes, I used to think my computer was dreaming, but then I realized it was just a nightmare -- so I finally got a Mac, and now I'm enjoying the dream of a computer that actually works!

I'm off to check out the Flickr set...

Oh my gosh, Tomate! I'm thrilled to see this post! You are so kind, and you are amazing to be able to figure out how to capture those! I think someone showed me how to do a screen shot last year, but I've forgotten. These are absolutely great. Carry on!

Uselaine: to capture a copy of your screen on a PC, do (Alt + PrintScreen ) (or is it Shift + Printscreen?) (to copy) and then paste it into a Word document... voila! However, I went very low-tech: I just literally photgraphed the scren with my camera randomly every couple of seconds (you don't know what you're getting so you might as well keep shooting and hope for the best. 3 pictures out of 10 came out, so I'm not complaining ;-).

Very interesting, thanks for sharing!
The capture of the best moments is the way to go, because some of the intermediate moments aren't all that interesting. I read about how it's done, both the concept and result are amazing!
