Ordinary week-day / Un jour de semaine ordinaire



Some days, the day just doesn't start right. For instance, I was on my way to work this morning, minding my own business, when a fire started in the tunnel underground and forced everybody out. Luckilly, no injuries and minor damages only.

Y'a des jours, comme ça, la journée démarre mal. Ainsi, j'allais bosser tranquillement, ce matin, sans me meler de quoi que ce soit, quand un feu s'est déclaré en plein milieu du tunnel du train et a forcé tout le monde dehors. No, I didn't, sorry. They are from KPIX (link above) I was much too busy to get out of there in a hurry to minimize exposure to smoke. That smoke was nasty.

Looking at those gave me an eerie feeling...it was like looking down 10th Ave. here in the City on Sept. 11th. This is one SF photo I won't keep.
