Eric, the Friendly Parisian / Eric, le Parisien Sympa

Have you ever met a friendly Parisian? Tough one, isn't it?!! ;-) Well, I have. And his blog is 1 year old today!

Happy Birthday Eric

I rarely comment about other people's blogs, but this one clearly deserves its own post. Not only you get to see an original picture of Paris every day, but each picture comes with its own interesting little commentary, in English! Most of the visitors' comments are in English as well, although some are in French. The visitors come from all over the world and have great fun hanging out and exchanging comments and jokes in a friendly atmosphere.

Over the months, many of the visitors have adopted the same format and joined the community of the Daily City Photo blog, such as Manu, here in San Francisco.

Go ahead and don't hesitate to click on their links and take yourself on a virtual tour of many cities all over the world. In the meantime, to Eric who started the whole thing, I'd just like to say this:

You da man, Eric! :-D

Happy birthday, Eric! And a great big thank you for keeping up with the daily post! We know it's time consuming and it does take effort, and we really appreciate it.

Joyeux anniversaire, Eric!

That is so nice tomate! I am amazed at all of the little dedications people have made to one blogger. There's got to be a story in there somewhere. Of course, I enjoy your comments the best.

Thanks guys!

I know it's a difficult post for people to understand, unless they've been hanging out at Paris Daily as much as some of us have :)

Bonjour Tomate!

Hey, nice tribute to Eric too, Tomate! My favorite thing about his blog, beside the stunning photos, is that its commenters are always friendly and respectful of each other. It's the nicest community I know on the blogosphere.

Who drew the stick guy?
