ANY BLOGGER TECHS OUT THERE?!!!

Is anybody else having problem uploading photos to BLOGGER lately? I've tried a few things and no matter what I do, uploading pictures on this server is a pain and takes an incredibly long time.

I've tried first uploading to the main blog. No go.

I've tried uploading to another blog I keep on the side just for testing purposes and stuff. It's pretty light since I keep hardly any posts on it; still no go!

I logged in and out of Blogger, cleaned out my cache, restarted the computer... still no go!

I've tried going to an alternate computer and doing it from there ... You guessed it, no go!

I've tried uploading via Picassa: Blogger says "I'm sorry gentlemen, I can't open the pod door for you."

Is it just me or is it just impossible to load any !$@# pictures in the evenings and week-ends lately? What the fuck?!!!

Oh, and that reminds me. My site-tracker is particularly obnoxious, as well, and when some of you land on my blog (particularly if you are using an older Explorer version), an obnoxious add will open up in the background. Sometimes it will ask you if you want to clean your registry. DO NOT CLICK ON THESE ADVERTISEMENTS!!! Just x them out. Damn it. Computers! Sheesh!!!

I have a feeling this is not a temporary problem with Blogger. I realize that we don't pay much for the service (!) but still...

Any thoughts, ideas? Anyone? Just thought I'd vent my frustration out to the world since I've been trying to upload pictures to complete a post I prepared for you guys on Friday, for the best part of 2 hours now and every day since then ...

(sigh)

Yeah, I've been having trouble loading from my work machine (IE on Windows) but it's okay on the home machine (Firefox on a Mac). I tried all the tips they gave on Blogger help and got sweet FA in response.

FA?

Hum.. well, at least I know it's not just me. I suspected that much since I tried uploading from at least 3 or 4 different computers.

Thanks for the imput Gabrielle.

It works fine in Paris. I have had temporary problems in the past but - knock on wood - it's been a while since I encountered uploading trouble.

Don't know what to advice you. You can try the new Picasa (Beta) but I doubt it'll solve your problems as they seem more linked to Hello than Picasa.

Not very helpful eh?

Eric: thanks anyway :-) Usually I manage to upload a couple of pictures at low resolution, but when I want to do a post with multiple pictures in it, that's when the problems start ... I think I might have to restart my blogging format completely. Too bad because I know people like the pictures more than what I have to say about them ;)
