La gaffe / Oooops ... (Fr/En)

Ah, when memory starts playing tricks...

My sister thanks us for the birthday wishes (Thanks, Sandy!), however, she hates the name I gave her on that post, i.e., Béchamel. Yet, I remember distinctly that she always made that sauce for us, better than my mother, in fact, and that it tasted pretty good, indeed! Oh, well... Apparently, the nickname Béchamel was already taken by one of our piano teachers whom we made fun of on a regular basis when we were kids (calling her "Bechamel" was part of it). To be honest, I don't really remember it, but Pomme Au Four does, that's all that matters.

OK, let's start from scratch, then. My sister, Pomme au Four, wishes to thank everybody for the birthday wishes.

(Note here that the Pommes Au Four I'm talking about were almost as good as the Tomates Farcies of my childhood. We had them stuffed with a little jam, covered in brown sugar and cinamon, and surrounded by custard. I think as a kid I clearly preferred the custard to the apples, but that's irrelevant now. So what do you think, P., is "Pomme au Four" gonna be OK?)
