Allez, oublions peu des pubs de Subway (si vous n'avez pas la moindre idee de ce que je racconte, je vous recommande vivement d'allez voir ce blog en Francais pour vous instruire sur le sujet).

Ce week-end, je vous invite a aller voir le Festival annuel D'art et de Musique d'Oakland. Je n'ai jamais ete personnellement, mais j'ai toujours eu envie d'aller jeter un coup d'oeil pour voir. A ce qu'il parait, il va y avoir 50 groupes, 4 stages de concert, 180 vendeurs d'artisanat sur 10 pathes de maison, a manger, et bien sur ... TOUT PLEIN DE GENS! Pour le programme, c'est par ici.

Si vous decidez d'y aller, mon conseil serait de prendre BART plutot que d'essayer de vous garer au centre ville d'Oakland. Ou bien conduisez a une ou deux stations de BART du centre ville et laissez la voiture la et faites le reste en train. C'est ce que je ferais a votre place.

Just a little change of pace, here, to help you all forget the latest chicken shit Subway ads (if you don't know what I'm talking about, I highly recommend you check out this blog in English to get up to speed).

This Labor day week-end there will be a big celebration downtown Oakland, the annual Oakland Art & Soul Festival. I've never personally been there, but always meant to check it out. Apparently there will be 50 bands, 4 Concert Stages, 180 Craft Vendors on 10 city blocks, lots of food ... and certainly a LOT OF PEOPLE! Check out the schedule here.

If you go, my advice would be to take BART as opposed to try to drive in. Or drive to any BART station and then take a train downtown. It will be much easier than trying to find a decent parking place downtown Oakland. That's what I'd do if I were you.
