Quelques nouvelles / Some news (Fr/En)

Voila, je suis enfin installée dans ma "nouvelle position". Après 5 jours (autrement dit 50h de travail!) il est encore beaucoup trop tôt pour évaluer la situation. Je peux cependant vous donner quelques détails. J'ai été transférée dans un local sans fenêtres (snif!) tout au fond du couloir mais qui a cependant quelques avantages non-négligeables. Premièrement, c'est un bureau avec une porte qui ferme. Na! Je peux donc maintenant m'isoler complètement et écouter tranquillement FIP à l'ordinateur toute la journée sans avoir à m'inquieter à chaque fois que FIP diffuse de la musique qui ferait tiquer mes charmants collègues Américains (comme par exemple du HipHop en Français ou pire (!) de la musique à sonorité quelque peu Nord-Africaine). De plus, ce nouveau local est près d'une porte de sortie et je peux maintenant entrer et sortir sans avoir à dire un mot à qui que ce soit. Très pratique! Finalement, l'espace est 5 fois plus grand que celui que j'occupais avant. Remarquez, donnez moi quelques semaines, et je le remplirai, c'est sur, mais pour le moment ça fait du bien d'avoir un peu de place autour de moi pour changer. D'ailleurs, pour me mettre à l'aise, j'ai tout de suite accroché au mur un poster que j'imagine certains d'entre vous ne devraient avoir aucun mal à reconnaître!

OK, I am finally all moved into my new position. After 5 business days (as in 50 hours of work!), it's still a little too soon to evaluate the situation. I can still tell you a couple of things, though. I have been transferred to a local without a window all the way at the end of the office. Despite the lack of windows, that new location has some interesting non-negligible advantages. First of all, it has a door and I can close it! So there! This way, I can listen to FIP on the computer all day long if I want to without having to worry about what my charming co-workers might think if they heard some hip-hop in French, or worse... some North-African-sounding music (just imagine!) coming out of my speakers! Moreover, this office is near the exit door and I can come and go without having to say a word to anybody. Now, that can come in handy, I'm sure you'll agree with me there. Last but not least, the space is about 5 times bigger than the one I occupied before. Leave it to me, though, and I'll probably fill it up in the next couple of weeks, but for now, it feels pretty good to have some room around me for a change. In fact, just to make myself at home, I immediately put something on the wall, which I'm sure, some of you should have no trouble recognizing...
